"Thank you again for bringing this course to Hawaii.  It was awesome!  I honestly can say that this is the best seminar/training that I have attended ... and it was free!  I'm in awe.

I've been to many classes and training seminars where most of the class had glazed eyes or closed eyes. The lectures were long and most of the information went in one ear and out the other.  Laticrete has it down, though.  The speakers were exceptionally knowledgeable and entertaining.  I've retained more information from the day and half I spent at the Laticrete seminar (I had to leave early the second day, against my will!) than I have from courses that were 3 or 4 days long!  In addition, the materials that were provided are sooooo helpful and greatly appreciated.  We are already putting the ANSI and TCNA books to good use.

Keep up the AMAZING work!!!

I received an email from a contractor who attend a Laticrete PTK Educational & Training program last week:


"Hello Henry. Thank you very much for your note, I received it today. I should be the one thanking you!

The information presented to me by Steve Rampino and others was fantastic. I soaked up more than I thought possible, and I attribute that to the quality of your training staff. They presented themselves as experts, but spoke to us on our level. I have been to other PTK style seminars where the presenter seemed too "aloft". Meaning they were treating us like people who were ignorant, rather than people who wanted to learn. When I train my staff and installers I always try to make myself as accessible as possible to everyone in the hopes that they will not be intimidated to ask questions.

Long story short, I have always been a huge supporter of Laticrete. I feel everyone in your organization is working to their fullest potential and morale seemed extremely high, it's the kind of organization that I like to be involved with. Again, that quality of personalities and knowledge, I feel, is what makes for long lasting relationships. Eric and Bill have also been extremely helpful in assisting us with answers to all of our questions. Bill, in particular, is probably the most helpful manufacturer rep that I have dealt with in a very long time. "I have been down here since Wednesday with my rep. from the Tampa area and also with a bunch others including Tom (floormaster) from the JB Tile forum, people from Daltile, Spectra Flooring, Specialty Tile, Mastercraft, Solutions along with installers and some general contractors.

Today we did some Powerpoint resentations of various Laticrete products with some discussions and a little hands on of the LatiLevel 86, 3701, 226 thick bed mortar, floor heat, HydroBan, 9235 & 312 vapor reduction membrane.

"Thanks for making this seminar happen! I think everyone had a great time and learned quite a bit. On the drive back none of us could say enough good things about Mike Werner. Bernie, Mark, and Lou were all great as well.

I think the most valuable information I got out of the seminar was from Mike, and his advice on selling a lifetime system warranty to the customer. Stress the lifetime warranty-and then premium installation materials are a much easier sell. Also learned some good technical info and troubleshooting tricks from Mark, aka Encyclopedia Brooks.

It was also really nice how professionally and ethically the information was presented. I've been to a few other seminars of this nature sponsored by other manufacturers and they often are a little heavy handed with self-promotion and belittling of the competition. Much respect to Laticrete for not going there!

Anyway, thanks again. Next time you're in Seattle dinner and drinks on us!
