I was on a mall storefront (PS Aeropostale) job that need serious prep work, being away from home, I ran to the local Dal Tile store and grabbed some LATICRETE 816 to flash patch. Used HYDRO BAN for the area as an antifracture membrane.
Finished off with SPECTRALOCK as grout.

"Here's a couple of pics of a project I completed in Atlanta.  I used your 255 for its non sag properties to set the wall tile starting just below the black chair rail, and finished with your Permacolor on the floor and unsanded grout on the walls. All of the Laticrete products were purchased from Specialty Tile in Norcross, GA.    Thanks!"  Jeremy Perere

Wet Film Thickness Gauge

Email received from a General Contractor:

Henry,

"Wanted to thank you for sending us the wet film thickness gauge a couple weeks ago!  We will be using it for an upcoming high end project (all glass tile swimming pool) later this week.  Its worth its weight in gold knowing my crew can accurately determine HYDRO BAN Membrane thickness, and I can spot check their work also.... Think it would really be great to make them available for purchase thru retailers and distributors, so people apply it to the required specs.  Our supplier never heard of them and thought I was nuts to want one, I will be sure to show it off next time we pick up more HYDRO BAN.

A Wet Film Thickness Gauge is a useful tool to have when installing liquid applied waterproof membranes.

Message from V-vo Mosaics - from Perth, Australia - who is traveling in the USA:
"Best mosaics I have ever seen. Panfilo. Pure Water Pools. The man is a genius.
Panfilo aka Pure Water Pools (Randy Beard) used HYDRO BAN and GTA (Glass Tile Adhesive) and PERMACOLOR grout. This one will be good. I have shown them 3701 but I need some to play with. I will call Eddie (LATICRETE OC) today. This is turning into quite a trip.

Kind regards,
