On Sunday I went on a tour of incredible homes in Greenwich Village, NYC
From their website:
This tour of six remarkable Village homes, .... held on Sunday, May 5,
2013, promises hidden gardens, unparalleled art, and historic charm.
Following the tour, join us for an exclusive after party at another
wonderful Village space.
Highlights include: a stately Italianate home with superb historic moldings and floors discovered and preserved during its recent renovation; an airy and effervescent townhouse with a style as playful as the family that lives there; and an 1853 home with a minimalist, serene décor and an exquisite central staircase.
The annual spring house tour is a benefit to raise funds in support of GVSHP’s work to educate about and advocate for the distinctive character and irreplaceable architecture of our neighborhoods.
