Laticrete Conversations: Reference Request Received

I received an email from a tile contractor friend:

"Hi Henry and Kevin,

I know Laticrete cannot take sides with their customers, but would you be willing to write a brief paragraph on our tile work?

We use this to send to serious potential clients and your thoughts would be really appreciated.

No rush, I know you both are very busy. And if it is company policy that you don’t provide referrals for contractors I completely understand.

Here is a recently completed project in Makena, South Maui. Existing on grade concrete deck. We used vacuum attached grinders to remove high spots and to provide a clean bonding surface.

Shrinkage cracks were treated with Laticrete Hydrobarrier with fabric reinforcment.

18” tumbled travertine was set with 4XLT and grouted with Permacolor Mushroom. Movement joints filled with Latasil.

All Laticrete products from Hawaiian Ceramic Tile in Kahului,Maui."
