About Me
- Name: Henry @ Laticrete
- Location: Bethany, CT
After growing up working in the Family Business; Laticrete, I served my apprenticeship at LATICRETE in England and Europe. In 1976 I returned to the USA to take responsibility for technical services to architects, distributors and contractors. After a four year stint heading LATICRETE's North American Sales & Marketing efforts, in 1986 I became Director of LATICRETE's international expansion efforts. In 1991, I became responsible for company wide technical training and served in this capacity until my transfer to Australia as Managing Director in 1994. I worked covering our Australia and New Zealand territories through 1997. I returned to the USA in 1997 and now reside with my wife, Sheila in Woodbridge, CT. I have hosted Architectural, Distributor and Contractor presentations to promote the use of ceramic tile, and have been a popular guest speaker at many industry conventions throughout North America and around the world, promoting the use of ceramic tile and stone.

I hope you cvan help me. I amn about to embark on a project of installing a shower pan -- 36x72 from Tile Redi.
They recommend putting down a mortar base and mention Laticrete 255 and XL4 as products. But both seem to be used for hanging tile not creating a base. Am I off base here?
Thanks,
Joe Shafran
